Shanghai International Convention Center (SHICC) is located in the heart of Lujiazui-Shanghai's Financial and Trade zone, adjacent to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and facing the multinational styles of architecture along the Bund across the Huangpu River. Capacity of SHICC
The SICC has a large number of meeting rooms of various sizes (see Table 1), which can be used selectively according to the needs of Interspeech. In addition, the spacious public areas can be used for coffee breaks and social activities such as welcome reception.
The Interspeech expects about 2,000 people of participation. The plenary sessions can be held at the Shanghai Hall on Grand Ballroom I+II (F7), while the track sessions (each with participation of about 150 people) can be held at the rooms F5 B-J or F3 A-J. We suggest that Exhibition Hall (1F) is used exclusively for poster sessions.
The banquet can be held at Grand Ballroom I (F7), which can accommodate 2,000 people in banquet style.
